Timeline

MyAlbum is a company with Frisian roots that operates internationally. In 2003 it started under the name MijnAlbum with the aim of easily sharing photos as albums privately with family and friends. At the time, the popularity of digital cameras was growing and people were still looking for ways to show their photos to others. Often photos were shown to others directly from the camera. Most Dutch households received a computer with an internet connection for the first time, usually via a dial-up connection. Sending multiple photos as attachments via email was a time-consuming process. MyAlbum offered a solution to this problem at the time.

The program helps you to quickly create a beautiful composition of your photos, videos and texts, so that you can relive the moment. That is also MyAlbum's mission, because memories are the most valuable thing we collect in our lives. In this way we want to prevent them from being lost or snowed under in this fast digital age.
